Hawk-Eye Innovations is delighted to have been awarded an International Safety Award this March. Located in Basingstoke, Hawk-Eye Innovations has provided broadcasting services with health and safety in mind since it started trading in 2001 and has enjoyed phenomenal success in the prevention of unsafe procedures across the world throughout 2016. The award recognizes businesses for health and safety and offers organisations a prime opportunity to prove their on- going commitment to the highest standards of safety (e.g. Introducing an innovative rescue at height solution). Over the years Hawk-Eye Innovations has provided broadcasting services to over 11,000 events in 89 countries and is very proud to gain recognition for the safe and diligent activity with which it has done so.
Hawk-Eye was selected for the International Safety Award because of its ongoing commitment to the provision of safe broadcasting infrastructure throughout 2016. The prestigious award, which provides well-earned recognition of Hawk-Eye Innovation’s hard work and commitment to providing safe and secure business, will be presented on Friday 5th May at the 60th Anniversary and International Safety Awards Gala Dinner at London’s prestigious, 5-star Grosvenor House Hotel. Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council commented, “This award clearly demonstrates Hawk-Eye Innovation’s commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of its workforce during 2016.” Health & Safety Manager at Hawk-Eye Innovations, Kelly Nicoll commented, “We are over the moon to have been recognised by the British Safety Council. The award demonstrates how far we’ve come, but this doesn’t mean our job is done. It gives us a great indication that we are going in the right direction, and will continue to make Health and Safety and Welfare our priority moving forward.”
