Previously COO at the PGA European Tour and Ryder Cup – led all key media rights deals, managing director of the production operation and generally tried to make sure the business ran as effectively as possible!
Favourite Sporting Moment
David Platt’s over the shoulder volley (from an exquisite Gazza chip) for England in the dying embers of the England vs Belgium 1990 FIFA Football World Cup.


Founder & Chief Innovations Officer

To think of things from an alternative perspective and to always question and challenge the convention. To be as irresponsible as possible!
Previous Experience
Paul founded Hawk-Eye pretty much straight from university. He says it is a very difficult business to leave.
Favourite Sporting Moment
All Ireland Gaelic Hurling Final. Having been to many finals of various sports, where the story is at least partly about how much money is at stake. The purity of no money being at stake, but pride and passion for the game really shone through. And who can't have a good time in Dublin with a Guiness in their hand!


Chief Operating Officer

Responsible for the day to day operations of the business ensuring that sport has world-class technology available at every event/competition.
Previous Experience
Started his Hawk-Eye career in the cricket department, before becoming MD APAC to set up domestic businesses across the region including opening offices in Japan and China. Took over as MD EMEA in 2020 overseeing the core business and rapid growth in the MEA region before being appointed COO.
Favourite Sporting Moment
England winning the 2005 Ashes: one of the most iconic sporting events ever!


Chief Commercial Officer

Responsible for driving our Commercial businesses to reach full potential to ultimately benefit of our partners, fans, and sport overall.
Previous Experience
Previously lead the NFL’s ticketing business and 32-Member Club strategy as well as served as NFL’s International Media lead over a +10yr period.
Favourite Sporting Moment
Toss-up between David Tyree’s helmet catch for the NY Giants at Super Bowl XLII and Aaron Ramsey’s winning goal in extra time at Wembley for the 2014 FA Cup Final.


Chief HR Officer
Role at Hawk-Eye
Responsible for making sure the Sports Businesses are a world class place to work and filled with the absolute best talent possible.
Previous Experience
Previously HRD for a variety of brands and leading my own OD business. Initially coming to Hawk-Eye to structure the organisation for dramatic and accelerated growth, and staying to help sustain it!
Favourite Sporting Moment
Watching my son deliver a platinum duck in the first game of the 2020 club cricket season (albeit feeling a little sorry for the lad on the receiving end).

Responsible for leading strategies to deliver against the ambitious growth roadmap of our group’s products and solutions, building engaged, world-class innovative teams to achieve this.
Previous Experience
Previously COO at YouView TV, a joint venture between the BBC, BT, TalkTalk, iTV, 4 and Five which transformed the technology strategy and operating model to enable the business to become more flexible, efficient and commercially focused at scale to deliver best-in-class technology and end-user products and services.
Favourite Sporting Moment
Being a big softball and baseball fan, a recent highlight for me was the Atlanta Braves winning the 2021 MLB World Series!

Technical Director
Role at Hawk-Eye
Responsible for all aspects of software development, leading a group of very talented engineers.
Previous Experience
Out of university, Mat joined a startup to develop video coaching technology before joining Hawk-Eye Innovations in 2004 as a software engineer and has since progressed to Technical Director.
Favourite Sporting Moment
Henrik Stenson battling it out against Phil Mickelson to win the Claret jug - watching from just beyond the 18th green side bunker at Royal Troon.


Global Project Director
Role at Hawk-Eye
James is responsible for project management across Hawk-Eye, supporting regional teams to implement new technologies, deploy operations in new regions, and deliver services for major events across the global business.
Previous Experience
James started his professional career with Hawk-Eye as a Cricket Systems Operator, then worked across a wide range of sports worldwide before swapping his sun-tan for a desk in Basingstoke. Originally from the Scottish Highlands, but you wouldn’t know it. Often found chasing a black ball around a Squash Court, or a white one around a golf course.

Global Commercial Director
Role at Hawk-Eye
Responsible for the commercial growth of the company, building strong commercial partnerships with sports leagues and federations across the world.
Previous Experience
Hawk-Eye lifer! Started with Hawk-Eye in 2008 straight from University in the tennis team, travelling and watching far too much tennis for years before becoming Director of Tennis. Building strong client relationships was always his strength as he moved into a Commercial Director role in the EMEA region in 2018, before being appointed Global Commercial Director.
Favourite Sporting Moment
Nou Camp 1999 "...and Solskjaer has won it!!", enough said! (notable mentions to Ben Stokes' Headingley heroics and the 2008 Rafa-Roger epic at Wimbledon, my first Hawk-Eye tennis event)!

Managing Director - APAC

Working with our customers in Asia Pacific and managing the team currently based in Japan, China, Korea and Australia. Also, working on strategic initiatives for the Sony Sports businesses with Sony HQ in Tokyo.
Previous Experience
CEO of Memnon, a Sony Group company, a media services provider in Europe, the US and Oceania.
Favourite Sporting Moment
F1 Brazilian Grand Prix in 1991 when cars were still cars and not computers, and Senna winning with only the sixth gear working.


Managing Director - Tour Sports
Role at Hawk-Eye
Lawrie and his team are responsible for the operations, service delivery and business development for the sports that ‘tour’ the world … Tennis, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Rugby, among others.
Previous Experience
Lawrie has spent 10+ years Hawk-Eye, starting out as a Cricket Systems Operator, living his dream of traveling around the world, being part of all the biggest cricket events. In 2015 he became Director of Cricket, responsible for the commercial growth and operations of our cricket team during an exciting time for the sport, before moving to MD of Tour Sports in 2022.

July 14th 2019: “He’s got it! England have won the World Cup, by the barest of margins … the barest of all margins! Absolute ecstasy for England … Agony. Agony for New Zealand”


Managing Director - North America
Role at Hawk-Eye
Dan and his team are responsible for all projects and products in the North American market, which includes working with all of the major sports - NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, NBA and NASCAR.
Previous Experience
Dan has spent his whole 10.5 year career with Hawk-Eye, starting with the tennis team back in 2011. He moved to the US in 2013 to help launch Hawk-Eye’s U.S. operations; he was initially responsible for MLB’s roll out of video replay in the clubhouses. Dan's area of expertise is delivering for yesterday today.

Back to back Penguins Stanley Cup wins, being in the stadium for the 2nd win. Go Pens!
